Whether you've trained for a decade or you're not sure which end of a barbell to pick up, you'll find a class, a coach and a couple of mates here. Honestly. Try a free taster - there's no pressure to sign up to anything.
things we get up to
Special projects

Pier to Pier Challenge
- A community challenge between Weston Grand Pier and Clevedon Pier.
- Raises money for IVF support and Hangar community projects (£3k last year and hoping to smash that in 2026).

Youth Justice Mentoring
- One-to-one and small-group support for young people linked with the Youth Justice and Prevention Service.
- Uses gym sessions, conversation and trusted relationships to help young people move forward.

Over 55s
- Friendly fitness sessions for older adults.
- Focused on strength, mobility, confidence and staying active.

The Hangar Hangout
- A Thursday youth session at The Hangar.
- A place for young people to move, chat, eat, play and feel welcome.

HAF Holiday Programme
- Holiday activities for children receiving free school meals.
- A mix of gym sessions, food, games and hands-on construction work.

Young Girls Strength Club
- A supportive project for girls from Hans Price Academy.
- Created for young people who were not really enjoying PE at school.

Women’s Strength & Wellbeing Group
- Small-group training for women rebuilding confidence after difficult or unsafe home situations.
- A calm, private and supportive space to move, connect and feel stronger.

Pupil Referral Unit Partnership
- A partnership with a local pupil referral unit.
- Gives young people access to the gym as part of their wider support and learning.

Defib Day
- A community day to raise money for a defibrillator.
- Turned a serious safety need into a positive local event.

The Hangar Games
- Our big in-house fitness competition.
- Teams, workouts, cheering, nerves, noise and a lot of support.

First Time Fitness
- A gentle way into the gym for people who feel nervous or out of practice.
- Designed for people who may not currently feel confident in fitness spaces.

Couch to 5K
- A beginner running programme based on the NHS Couch to 5K structure.
- Helps people build from no running experience towards 30 minutes of continuous running.
